Who is suitable for eyeliner with wings
The eyeliner procedure helps to hide certain congenital or acquired defects. Correction is amenable to such problems as:
- asymmetry;
- “sad” look (downcast corners);
- too convex pupils;
- narrow incision;
- recessed fit;
- scars, small scars, consequences of surgery or plastic intervention.
Suppose the upper eyelids are naturally too heavy and overhanging over the eyes, or the skin is covered with a mesh of wrinkles and lost elasticity due to natural age changes. In that case, it is usually tough to make a prominent arrow. This is where the blending technique comes to the rescue. It softens the transition from colour to skin tone, opens the look and camouflages the primary signs of ageing.
Eyes shine, and lashes appear thicker and darker. The upper eyelids take on a visual lightness. The face becomes cute, delicate, and attractive.
Features of the application technique
Permanent makeup pigments with extensions as a single technique is often chosen to treat the upper eyelid. With almond-shaped eyes, use continuous spraying along the contour, smoothly passing from dark tones to light. Complement the drawing with a light accent on the outer corner.
The monochrome growing arrow refers to the most straightforward options. The master first stuffs a dense dark line along the growth of eyelashes, then gently stretches the colour on 1/5 of the eyelid. The result looks delicate and natural, creating a slight feeling of “makeup”.
In the Banana variant, only the outer corner is tinted with a colouring agent. The spread goes beyond the edge of the eye and ends with a slightly bent tip. The oval unpainted part of the eyelid visually enlarges the eyes and makes them look sincere and open.
The technique “Loop” resembles “Banana” but leaves a space inside where the client can apply shadows of any colour in the future. This pattern corrects deep-set eyes and makes them more prominent and more expressive.
How to find the right shade
Ideally, you should stick to naturalness and prefer ones that do not contrast too much with the colour type of your face. Excessively flashy elements, relevant for festive or thematic makeup, do not fit into everyday life and quickly become boring. It is impossible to get rid of them quickly.
A soft, calm range emphasises the natural beauty. It becomes an excellent basis for creating an attractive image, appropriate during the day at work or study and at night – at a cocktail or club party.
You can choose a tonal palette on your own, but it is better to entrust this responsible moment to a master. Thanks to their great practical experience and constant work with Perma Blend pigments, he will quickly find the most successful variant harmonising with the client’s eyes, hair and general style.
Before the procedure, the shades should be tried to see how everything will turn out. This allows you to make timely corrections or amendments to the makeup sketch.
Advantages of the growing-out technique
The technique has its undeniable advantages:
- Durability. You no longer need to worry about the state of makeup and constantly keep a mirror at hand to control the clarity of the lines of arrows, neatness, and evenness of the application of shadows. Tattooing with extensions perfectly holds for years and only slightly loses colour saturation over time.
- Water resistance. Now you can always be well-groomed in the pool, at sea, in the rain and other conditions. Pigments, regardless of the manifestations of the external environment, remain bright, retain clarity and do not wash out.
- Daily saving of time and money. There is no need to spend precious minutes carefully drawing arrows and leaving impressive sums for decorative makeup products in cosmetic shops. Just one treatment guarantees a prolonged effect. It gives the impression that a woman constantly uses the services of an experienced makeup artist or makes flawless makeup on her own.
- No chance of allergies. Pigments are hypoallergenic and consist of safe components. They do not cause irritation or other adverse reactions at the moment of application or in the subsequent period.
All these points prove that the procedure is worthwhile. And not only for aesthetics but also from the practical side.
Preparatory process
To make the operation go flawlessly and ensure the result is exactly as planned, it is necessary to comply with a few simple requirements:
- Fourteen days before going to the beautician to stop sunbathing, both under the natural sun on the beach and in the solarium. Otherwise, tattoo lines will be too bright and unnatural when the skin acquires its usual shade.
- A week before the operation, to refuse to take blood-thinning drugs and antibiotics. These drugs prolong the healing process and provoke the exit of most of the dye from the body.
- Do not use aggressive cosmetic preparations, scrubs, peels and acid rollers for seven days before the procedure. They traumatise the dermis and increase its susceptibility to external influence. The colour of the damaged epidermis lies unevenly and is, worse, fixed.
- Remove false eyelashes in advance. Do not use decorative cosmetics, and do not apply permanent mascara.
- For 2-3 days, remove from the diet alcoholic beverages of any degree, strong tea, coffee and energy. They lead to blood thinning and markedly lower pain thresholds.
- Do not eat smoked, fried or fatty foods the day before the operation. Do not drink a lot of water so as not to provoke excessive swelling. It prevents the creation of clear lines.
- Immediately before the session, do not smoke because nicotine increases susceptibility to pain.
Do not use contact lenses on the day of surgery.
In addition, it is worth listening carefully to all the individual recommendations of the beautician and being sure to fulfil them. This will be the key to success in creating beautiful makeup and an attractive image.
How long it takes to heal
It usually takes between 25 and 30 days for final healing. During this period, the epidermal layer naturally recovers, and the pigment introduced under the skin by the master manifests itself in full and gains saturation.
Within a day after applying the shade, wiping the area with a cotton swab moistened with a delicate but effective disinfectant is necessary. This will speed up the healing process and help eliminate possible irritations. It is forbidden to wet your eyes for 24 hours after the procedure.
Thermal stress should be postponed for at least a week. No trips to the sauna, sauna, solarium or beach. Hot baths at home do not take. Only a shower at loyal temperatures and for a short time is allowed.
Eyes for the first 2-3 days should be at maximum rest. It would be best not to sit for long periods at the computer or in a constant mode of watching TV. Moisturising drops should be used if the mucosa becomes inflamed, burning, itching, and other negative moments are felt. Which drugs to choose will prompt the beautician at the preparation stage for the session.
To reduce the level of swelling in the areas treated, anti-inflammatory ointment should be applied for 3-4 days on the eyelids. This will soothe the epidermal layer and minimise unpleasant sensations from the rehabilitation process.
On the 2nd or 3rd day after surgery, a crust forms in the treatment area at the puncture site. Do not tear it off, soak it or try to remove it in any way. It will fall off naturally in 7-10 days, and accelerating this process artificially is unnecessary. Together with the crusts will pass redness and swelling.
After about two weeks, the dermis will completely heal, but the colouring agents will need more time to gain saturation and brightness. This will take another 2-3 weeks. During this time, the colour will settle and fully appear.
If the shade were introduced only on the upper eyelid, healing would be faster than when both sides of the eye were treated.
It is worth going for a correction
Correction is a mandatory step, not an optional service. It is carried out 30-45 days after surgery when the skin is completely healed and there are no traces of intervention or inflammation. During the session, the master performs the following actions:
- perfects the shape of the drawing;
- corrects errors that became visible after the final recovery of the skin;
- supplements the intensity and colour saturation, partially lost during rehabilitation.
The work takes less time than the initial filling of the skin with a colouring agent. At the end of the session, the contour lines acquire the necessary clarity, and the area of spreading becomes even softer and smokier. The makeup is finally fixed and achieves the essential firmness and shade saturation. Its service life significantly increased after that.
One correction is enough for young girls. For ladies 30+, who have already encountered signs of primary fading, in case of detection of any shortcomings a month after correction, it is desirable to revisit the master and correct what could not be done in the previous time.
Further, the need for renewal is determined purely individually. Depending on the peculiarities of the body to adjust the saturation and clarity of the pattern will be required no more often than once every 1.5-2 years.
The recovery period after the sessions lasts as long as the rehabilitation after applying colourants to the eyelids.
Contraindications to performance
- Objective reasons that do not allow you to do permanent include:
- Ophthalmological problems of any nature, including conjunctivitis;
- blood diseases;
- diabetes mellitus;
- oncology and malignancies;
- psychiatric disorders and epilepsy;
- active inflammatory processes;
- infectious infections;
- presence of colloidal scars.
The period of pregnancy, childbirth and lactation is not suitable for tattooing. Colouring elements introduced into the mother’s body can adversely affect the child’s immature immune system.
If the client, due to health problems, uses antibiotics or undergoes a course of rehabilitation, which includes drug therapy, it is better to refrain from permanent.
The operation is contraindicated during menstruation because of the natural decrease in pain threshold. At this time, any violation of the integrity of the epidermal layer causes intense negative sensations.
The body may react inadequately in case of individual intolerance to the working preparations or individual components included in their composition. These difficulties can be avoided by testing the substances used in small doses beforehand and observing how the internal system reacts to them.
How to remove permanent makeup
You can eliminate your makeup if you get bored with it over time. The most common ways include:
- Laser removal.
- Toning the area with a flesh colour.
- Chemical procedure using a remover.
- Electrocoagulation.
Each of the options has specific features and is selected individually.
To avoid resorting to extreme measures, it is better to consider everything very carefully before applying tattooing and choose to perform a universal range of shades, equally harmonious with day and evening images.
